Hi All,
The basic question is: If I go to the UPS Store and have them professionally
pack a 65 lb. set for shipping within UPS guidelines, will I have less trouble
collecting from UPS if the item is damaged by them?
rgds,
Mark S.
On the subject of UPS and Fedex , I have used UPS since the first
brown truck showed up ,Had one damaged package , a Heathkit Apache, the
boxs gave up and banged a corner,UPS paid without a big deal.. I sent
a TS 930 last April,It got lost ,NOT MY FAULT,, took 5 months to get
my money ,had to justify selling price, average price, and Lord knows
what else ...MY ADVISE--DOUBLE BOX IT,USE PLENTY OF CUSHION,keep your
fingers crossed. Harold W4PQW
