HW-101 weak receive
 

My HW-101 receive has dropped a few s-units all of the sudden, without
a signal in the noise the s-meter is pinned at s-0, I still hear all
signals but the hot receiver it used to be its not any longer, Have
replaced V3 and V4 without any results.
Any ideas where I should be looking for a problem?

You probably lost a capacitor in the AGC system. Follow it from one end
to the other, and check all of the capacitors and resistors you find.
