Please email me direct if you have any. JEDEC book says that's a Ge PNP, 50 mW, -32V BVce, -20 mA Ic max, 2 mA nominal. hFE of 70 typical, 2 mA Ic nominal. Ft is 700 kc typical. Ge is typically 41 dB (and if you believe that I have a bridge for you). Specified for military applications with a wider temperature range than usual. I'd say you can sub a 2N324 or a 2N526 in there without any real change. These aren't specified for input or output capacitance so if this is part of a tuned circuit it may require some tinkering to make it happy with an equivalent. If it's an audio circuit, I'd just drop in a generic Ge equivalent with a high enough dissipation and be done with it. Or even drop a silicon device in there and change the bias resistors. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |

Al,
I do have 2N-404 Texas Instruments (NOS) transistors, which, in according to my my transistor manual, can be used as direct replacement for 2N591. I also have one transitor from International Rectifier TR 05-C which is also can be used instead of 2N591. You can contact me directly at: 73, Vlad, kb9olm Al Last wrote in message . ..
