Free Book on "Restoring HF Valved Communication Receivers"

Hi

A very experienced UK radio engineer, collector and restorer, Chris
Parry, has written a 91 page e-book on the above topic and asked me to
make it available on the internet. He is happy for it to be freely
distributed in the interests of making valve radios in full working
order available for the future.

See the link on my collectable radios web site at
http://www.vk2bv.org/radio/index.htm for full details of Chris's
contact information and downloading.

I think anyone who restores valve radios will learn something from it.
If you find it useful, I am sure Chris would appreciate an email note
of thanks.

Do not let the word "engineer' scare you, that is what we would

Gene

In Chris Parry's case he is a qualified design engineer and used to be
professionally involved with these radios. His restoration work is
merely a hobby these days as he now works in a diifferent, and more
modern, electronics field.

This professionalism shows in the details, especially design faults,
given in the book. Read it!
