Wanted For UK Museum

Hi,
We are currently putting together a working WWII period display based on
a signals office and are looking for a Creed 7 and a Marconi Undulator.
Can anyone help?

Also if anyone has anything wartime or slightly later they would be
prepared to sell at a reasonable price we would be interested, we have
several CR100 and AR88 receivers so far and I believe one intention is
to put together a triple diversity setup with the 3 CR100s.

Would also like a BC610 but not sure how rare these things are.

Should point out I am not the expert, but we do have a licensed one who
is building the exhibit!

The link for the museum is that we have several period ex-military
gensets which will power the display. The plan is for the site to be on
the air at weekends.

Thanks
Paul Evans

Want is a "Marconi Undulator"?

I'd don't think I have one, or at least if I have I don't know it ;-)

I do know someone who had a Creed 7 looking for a good home- I'll see if it
is still available. However, it is in Kent so would need collecting.

Produces an ink tape record of morse, various flavours I think back to
before WWI.

Sample tape shown at http://jproc.ca/rrp/akla.html

We have several "Friends of the Museum" Kent way so collection no
problem if the Creed is available, good home guaranteed.

Thanks
Paul

Thanks, I'd not heard the name but know the type thing you mean.

OK, I'll try and pop along to visit the owner and ask him.

You could also try the "BARTG" group- British Amateur Radio Teledata Group,
the Creed 7 was the "standard" amateur teletype before computers came along.
Radio amateurs being radio amateurs, there will be several in a
loft/garage/shed that are no longer used.
