Heathkit DX-100..no grid current

Hi..
I have a DX-100 that has no grid current.
The meter readings show '0 for grid.
'110' volts for Plate
'740' for Volts.
These readings are also when I depress the morse key..no change.
I checked the key and the connections are correct.
The transmitter was working perfectly before a move about 4 months ago.
Any suggestions appreciated...John

Hi, John

Can you hear the VFO being keyed in your receiver?
Have you worked the band switch back and forth
(with High Voltage off)? Any loose tube, or tube
with no heater glow? Have you a crystal you can try,
instead of the VFO? What is the plate current,
key up and key down?

I think you'll have to bite the bullet,
and remove the rig from the cabinet for an inspection,
if these quick checks are unsuccessful.
