Is there anyway someone can filter out the trash that is on our fine
newsgroup?

Buy Yahoo has several groups devoted to boatanchors
They are moderated so no trash, but you must subscribe.
More and more serious posters are going there since the invasion of the
nonsense being posted here and other rec.radio NG's
Tis a pity because just a few years back there was quite a following of
knowledgeable folks here
