For Sale: RACAL MA-197B shortwave receiver preselector. Built in 1965.
This unit employs high quality tunable bandpass filters using 6-ganged
tuning condenser and has two stage RF amplifier (2x 12AU7 tubes).
It can be used with any HAM radio receiver or general coverage
shortwave receiver.
MA-197B preselector was designed to protect receivers from near-by high
power transmitters.
Very good cosmetic condition. Works fine.
