Hammarlund HQ-170 Telechron clock
I have a Hammarlund HQ-170 receiver that I'm going to start on here
shortly, but it was one that was originally bought without the optional Telechron clock, so all it has is the lens there showing the Hammarlund emblem. Does anyone know if replacement clocks are available, or does anyone have one they'd be willing to sell ?? Thanks, Ben |

Someone had offered them on this newsgroup a couple of years ago, but I don't remember the details. Thanks, Ben |

If you'll do a google search on Hammarlund clock, you'll come up with a site which has two versions of the Hammarlund clock face. You can print it on photo paper. I bought a 24-hour movement from an internet site. Your choice of hands is included. It doesn't turn anything off or on but it looks sharp and all I'll have to do is change a battery every couple of years. 73, Dave Heil K8MN |

They sold it to Google and it is now called Google Groups: http://groups.google.com/ -- Service to my country? Been there, Done that, and I've got my DD214 to prove it. Member of DAV #85. Michael A. Hi Ben,
Go to The Hammarlund Historian website: http://www.hammarlund.info and to the "service" secn, then to "Parts or service sources" The last I knew, the Hummels still had clocks. You might find some other usefull info on the site also. There's a downloadable manual for the HQ-170A, sorry, no plain 170 at this time, but not too many differences. 73, Al, W8UT New Bern, NC BoatAnchors appreciated here http://www.boatanchors.org http://www.hammarlund.info |
