Doing that violates its FCC type acceptance.


That's okay, most of them aren't type accepted anyway, and a lot of them
violate part 15 specs so badly out of the box that they could never be.

There was a discussion about this in a recent Radio World. Legitimate
FM broadcasters are getting annoyed by interference from these devices.
