Sorry for the topic drift, but I wanted to make sure that everyone
knew that their contributions to public broadcasting entities are
(so long as those entities are duly certified by the IRS) definitely

UPDATE:

Today, April 15th, I talked to the person in charge of premiums/
fundraising!! She asked me for my particulars(name, address, etc), and
discovered that my DVDs were shipped out on February 26th, two days
before I pledged! What?

That's right, someone made an entry error. She flagged it and said
give it one more week. If my DVDs don't arrive by next Weds or
Thursday she said to call her back at her direct line.

There is hope, after all.

I still think you need to volunteer at WBAI, since obviously you are
interested in keeping them on the air. As I said, you can do a *lot* with 5
hours on a Saturday, and goodness knows they can use the help, like any other
Pacifica station.
