Low power AM broadcasting-AM1 kit

I bought my Ramsey Am1 for about $30 in 2003,things i have found after hooking
it up is getting it to make the distance,i first hooked up a '30 foot wire, and
grounded it to a outdoor ground,it broadcast 1000 feet.. i changed the Antenna
to a 10 foot conductor with 20-30 turns of coated copper wire on a Toilet paper
tube as a loading coil,i grounded it 2 ways...First,i grounded the RF out
ground side to my electric meter box, next i took a Tap off the 20-30 turn end
to a 10 foot antenna and coupled it with 4700pf to the 3rd prong ground in your
house wiring,,i turned up my CD /Radio AUDIO source to higher sound loud and
clear,Probably at the point of OverModulation for best Distance...i get ranges
past 100 feet and at different times Day/Night-it goes unstoppable to 1/4
mile,,it measures on a CB SWR meter on the Field strength tap...i can read it
on my Radio Shack 3-30mhz CB SWR meter, using it i adjust my transmitter for the
Highest read...adjust the Frequency coil,by turning the iron core center of the
Tuning coil,i raised my up until it extends 1/8-1/4 inch above coil.....
