Antenna For Super Radio

I'm trying to pull in 1110 AM in NYC, the Coast To Coast show, and just ordered
the GE super radio. I'm in Manhattan, and surrounded by a lot of concrete.
Bedides the radio, I was looking at the Terk antennas.
Would the Advantage model work?

I'm able to pull in some stronger stations if I place my current radio next to
the window, but the AM reception is mosty static. The Super Radio has 2 screws
I think for an antenna, but the one above doesn't have to be attached. Anything
for less money out there? Thanks!

Any good tunable loop should help significantly, but in a EM-noisy
environment, nothing can eliminate all the static.

FWIW, the Terk Advantage is the only antenna Tivoli Audio recommends
specifically http://tivoliaudio.com/faq.htm#q12 for improving AM reception
on their Model One radios. I find the now-discontinued Radio Shack loop
antenna to be very helpful in the noisy Faraday cage (an apartment in a
stucco building covered with aluminum siding with mercury vapor lights
mounted on the front of the building) I live in.

Since there's no 1110 AM in NYC, I'm presuming that you mean WTBQ in Warwick
NY, which is the closest station to NYC on 1110. They're licensed for 250
watts...daytime only. Coast to Coast (a syndicated overnight show) would
likely not be running on a daytime-only station.

If I were he, I'd be trying to get WTAM in Cleveland -- 1100 AM.

I have pulled it in from time to time in Westchester.
