recommendations for rds generator?

hey there-

i am seeking recommendations for an rds generator.

we hope to use data from our website's playlist to feed the generator
information. (such as "scheduled at 6:30pm: __beethoven's symphony #5___)

if that makes sense, can anyone offer suggestions? i'm totally ignorant
about this, and could really use some help.

thank you!

christa

My suggestion is that you call Harris-Allied or BSW and tell them what you
want, because there are a lot of different devices out there. And what you
want depends a lot on how you're going to feed it and whether you are using
an existing automation system to generate the data or whether you just want
to hack your own serial connection up from something else. And also you need
to know how to deal with exceptions when the program is interrupted and you
are going from another feed than is scheduled.

Another BIG question is whether you want scrolling or not, and that is a
matter of pretty major debate these days. I'm in the no-scrolling camp,
but your GM may be big on scrolling.

We have just what you want.

Take a look at the spec AND the price.
