Difference between Star and Big?

I live up in California's High Desert, about 90 miles away from Los Angeles,
but I'm doing a lot of work "down the hill" now and have had a chance to listen
to some of the stations local to LA. I actually have one bank of FM presets
dedicated to LA stations, and I have a preset for Star 98.7. I also have a
preset for KBIG 104.3. I'm really curious as to what exactly the difference is
between the two radio stations, as they are both owned by Clear Channel and
both *sound* like Hot AC.

Thanks in advance,
SJS

Star targets women 25-34, non-ethnic, and leans alternative. KBIG is
rhythmic AC, broad in target (25-54) and targets Hispanic females.
