Brazil - Trans World Radio inaugurates new shortwave transmitter

station Trans World Radio on 29 November Reaffirming a longstanding commitment to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ throughout South America, international Christian broadcaster Trans World Radio (TWR) on 21 November formally dedicated a new 50,000-watt shortwave transmitter in the southern city of Santa Maria, Brazil. The new broadcasting outlet marks TWR's 14th major international transmitting site, and it fortifies the Mission's nearly 35-year-old evangelical outreach in Brazil. operates on 11735 kHz, and the station also uses 9530 kHz (10 kW) and 5965 kHz (7.5 kW). |
