Montgomery Ward 702 Base unit
 
Got one of these off of E-Bay in excellent condition , does anyone know
what the mike wiring is similar to. It is a 4 pin, was this radio made
by Cobra for them. any help you can offer would be most appreicated.

You need to talk to Mark, KB9RQZ, he's a CB expert. Don't ask him
anything about ham radio though.

Use a jumper wire and short out two pins at a time and write down the
pinout. You will have one receive and one transmit and a common. When you
find these the remaining pin is for audio.

Mr Lee you can go on to ebay under cb radio and find a microphone called super star model 705. They run about $9.99 to $15.00. There is no wiring just plug it in and start trans. cashdave

I highly doubt if you will be able to just plug in a microphone and start transmitting with a vintage radio like that.
More then likely it is going to need all the capacitors replaced and realigned - that is if it even works at all.
