Yeah... we can hunt most anything behind my barn, rabbit,

I was kidding. I didn't want to impose.

Impose? My neighbor re-loads the empty cartridges. You gotta see
one of his home made rockets when you come over to hunt, he's a
gun freak of sorts and yet a laid back down the road dood. (Dan)

You know you and your family are always welcome here man.

I'd stop by but there isn't any decent fishing by you hehehe

Nah, not unless you like lake erie perch or walleye. You of all
people should stop by Jim, you could map quest it and then talk on
your old portable when you got here.

You could pretend to be a Buckeye fan (the champs) while you're here
too.

Maybe it's a Musty old parts and rust thing ;)

Or move over Plymouth approaching rapidly! :)

LOL!!, Not a problem when in the Bronco but don't count
on it when on 2 wheels ;)

No problem, next case step down........LOL!!!!

When you're talking gamefish, I like to go after
the sails, but Barracuda, Tarpon and Shark

are always fun, too.

What about Wahoo, Cobia, King Mackerel, and Marlin?

Yea, the Cobia are good fishing, not such a great tasting fish (my
personal opinion), Mackerel are good for catch and release (a little
oily for my taste) and the Marlin are just starting to make somewhat of
a comeback in the Gulf waters, but if they have an oil spill from the
drilling planned for the future, we can kiss it all goodbye.

Marlins are ok to catch, but not good eating. I hate spending an hour
to land a fish and you can't even eat it.

You got that right.

He's possibly

forgotten the frigid California temps

(LOL!!).

Seriously, he does have it good. There is

nothing like a good large mouth or for that fact
small mouth bass, but I've been partial to

Trout and the sport fishing for Yellow

fin or Dorado or an occasional Wahoo when

down south of the border.

Merry Christmas Jim & Twist, Steveo and
everyone else........................

Landshark

No smallmouth bass in Florida except in a few spots up near the top of
the state, but the record largemouths make up for it. In fact, the pros
are predicting the next world-record to come from Fl, Tx or Ca., but the
Ca. largemouth bass are all southern bass. Largemouth bass aren't native
to Ca. at all.

All good, you forgot Wahoo, now that a fun one to catch.

Hey Twisty, lived in the high desert of So Cal

and there wasn't much fishing there.

I'm hip. I used to have relatives living in Victorville but they moved
more north a few years ago.

Where

you are in the gulf you are spoiled with the

warm water and all.

Got that right.

Try getting a line wet with

6' breakers at 38f and a stiff breeze blowing

the bait fish in. Gotta be dedicated...

I'm having visions of the Gorton's Fish commercial where they're wearing
rain coats and its Winter. I can fish for days straight, literally, in
rain, wind, etc., but when then the temp drops, forget it. We had 48
degrees a few nights ago (for an hour or two) and we turned the heat on
for the first time in a long time.

Yeah Twist I was in Victorville for four years at George AFB back in the early
80's. What a hole that place was. No fishing unless one wants to put a line in the
aquaduct. F that.

LMAO!!!! I was there for 5 days for the Bronco 40th anniversary. I'll tell you
what Jim, it's probably changed (but still not for the better). All you had to do
was drive for less than an hour and fish Big Bear, lot's of Trout there.
