I've got an old TRC-451 that I still use. I've gotta' have an AM/SSB radio.

Any Comments on Realistic Cb Radios ???.
 
I liked them. I remeber cutting the limiter diode out of the audio
mike section and turning the RF up a bit. I f I remebered corectly a
few of them were JC Penny radios also. Same guts just different
covers. I miss the CB craze in the late 70's. I worked at a CB shop
while I was in school.
I allways liked the Unidens. President Grants particularly. You could
really trick them out.

Given that we know this much about the original poster:

1. He's on half a computer.
2. Posting from a site exclusively reserved for people who make poor
decisions.
3. Nobody but you read it because most sites drop WebTV for reason 2.

My guess in his case is that he's got one of the awful models. (OTOH, one
of the truly awful Realistics, model number escapes me at the moment, had
the best sounding WX receiver I've come across... too bad it sucked at it's
primary, 11m duties...)
