VoiceMax - Transceiver Speech Processor
Scheduled Release - July 2007 Why Do You Need It? Two-way radio communication relies on the modulation contained within the signal. Maintaining a high modulation level is crucial in providing the highest possible efficiency from any transmitter operating on AM, FM, or SSB modes. Two-way radios rely on microphones that inherently change audio levels delivered to the transmitter. This causes transmitter modulation to fluctuate greatly depending on voice level and pitch. This audio fluctuation lowers the average modulation applied to the transmitter, resulting in less than optimal transmission range. Are You Ready to be Heard? Most speech processors use "signal clipping" and sound fuzzy. VoiceMax provides a constant 100% modulation level by using a sophisticated AGC (automatic gain control) circuit that ensures that your transceiver will punch through loud and clear. VoiceMax's harmonic distortion is less than 1%. Do you want that audio punch without all the background noise associated with power microphones? VoiceMax provides high-level amplification from your stock dynamic microphone, and incorporates an adjustable noise gate that blocks unwanted background sounds. VoiceMax is perfect for mobile environments! Find out more at: www.telstar-electronics.com |

CBers aren't intelligent enough to use a speech processor. They will
crank it up to max and think because they get more "swang" on the meter they have a bigger signal, when all it accomplishes is splatter over the rf spectrum. Thats right Steveo. I went to Visalia California DX Convention, all the
ham guys wanted to be loud also. I helped quit a few out there. Most the amature antenns stuff will only take a little over a few grand. I still got a big kick out of the last Shoot Out I went to. Got free home made wine, BBQ Ribs, Beans, 4 gauge wires with with crimped on Lugs, two offers for marriage, and helped a guy run a ground wire to his amp from 3 Leech Naville Alternators. Got shown how 1 5/8 coax connetors are put on! We all had a great me. Jay in the Mojave Steveo wrote: It's not just CBers that think that way. |

I went to Tahoe a couple of weekends ago with my son, was going to do a little fishing. But of course crazy weather: Left work 70 degrees, got part of the way there, rain, heading over the summit, snow, otherside of summit, hail, rain again, go to Tahoe, windy & snow. So needless to say, didn't do any lake fishing. Landshark |
