I had bought the programming cable a few months ago.
The serial version was on clearance for $4.99. Works
great with my scanner. The neatest thing is I can put
ham and CB in the same bank. One go round I hear folks
I know on a repeater. The next go round I hear my buddy
messing around on 19. That's mixed in with fire dispatch
and the traffic planes. Of course, all the surrounding 800
trunked public service systems are in there. Battery life is
good with the 1800 & 1950 mAh NI-MH cells I use.
