Anyone noticed the NIB (New In Box) Galaxy DX-2547 CB bases have
vanished from Ebay? There use to be a bunch of sellers listing NIB
Galaxy DX-2547's on EBay, but one by one that have disaapeared over
the past few weeks. What gives?

Yeah, they have been reported to ebay as illegal transceivers. Maybe
ebay has finally gotten the message.
