Well part of that is because it really annoys the public. Most of the
non-hams I know get really annoyed at us because we keep repeating the
exact same thing over and over and over again.

What am I talking about? The public reaction to hams saying their
legal i.d. every ten minutes. Which is required for hams to do by
federal law. However, doing so and obeying that law really annoys the
general public.
