BBC TV feature on CB - wanting CB enthusiasts to take part.
 

I have been contacted by a TV company, working for the BBC, wanting
to be put in contact with users of CB radio. They are wanting to do
a short feature on CB radio, and want people to take part.
They want us to pass on the following invitation:


“Are you a CB Radio enthusiast based in or near London, would you
like to be interviewed in a short film for BBC1s The One Show about
your passion for CB? Did you first meet your loved one over the
airwaves? If so, please contact Cris Warren from Icon Films,
0117 317 1717 / for a chat about possibly
appearing in our film which we will be shooting on May 6th 2010."


The last time such a feature was done on UK CB was in the 1990s,
when they filmed at an "Eyeball" near Chesterfield (Derbyshire).
The BBC budget does not stretch to travelling (at least not for
those actually making programmes), so it falls to Londoners to
put CB on UK TV again.
