Only place in the world with white hots. Where "waking up
with the wease" doesn't mean you have a cold. Where the ferry doesn't float, the aqueduct doesn't contain water and the subway doesn't contain rail cars any more. And the Frontier Field isn't on the frontier, but in a rather old section of town. And a can of worms is a dangerous way to get to work. I live in the Rochester, NY suburbs, and I know these places in person. -- Christopher A. Young Learn more about Jesus www.lds.org .. Hello 'stormin',
Yep, I grew up in Pittsford. And those Zwigles white hots are good, but try the Wegman's white hots. Simply delicious! The can of worms was undone decades ago. Of course, there are many new bottlenecks. What has it been? Six years that 490 has been messed up? First the rework on the bridges (one of 'em shifted, remember?). Then about 4 years reworking the expressway. Now the inner loop is all messed up. Taxes? Folks should move here for a year. They'd leave in a big hurry! Property taxes of 10,000 to 12,000 per year are not all that rare. And you don't need a real expensive piece of property to pay those rates. Property taxes (town plus county) often add up to 3% of the value of the property. Heck, finance rates aren't a whole lot more than that. Pay a mortgage forever! 73 from Rochester, NY Jim ps - capabilities from 1.8 to 440 MHz .... *if* I ever get the other antenna up LOL "Stormin Mormon" wrote in message ... Figured we were no longer talking Navajos.
Anyhow, yeah, the can was supposed to been cleared up. I remember 490 shifting in the city, can't remember which bridge. They put all the lanes on one bridge, and then on the other. Over the Genesee river, was it? I've not tried the Wegmans whites, though they should be good. Everything Wegmans, is fine quality, and reasonably priced. I love the new micro mini shopping buggies, for when I only need a couple items. You tried Mark's pizza? I rather enjoy that brand. I've met the Mark who founded the place. Nice enough fellow. -- Christopher A. Young Learn more about Jesus www.lds.org .. "Jim Hampton" wrote in message ... Hello 'stormin', Yep, I grew up in Pittsford.
