NE Power Out
Dial-a-watt was set too high when I keyed my mic. It's been readjusted.

Twist,
I wish you could have seen my face when I discovered the problem. My power didn't go out, but when I changed from the satellite to local tv for the news, everything was dead. I thought the dogs had pressed some buttons. Pulled the entertainment center out and was checking all kinds of cable - then I checked two other televisions hooked into the system. All seemed dead on local stations. When I suddenly discovered a weak UHF station, I grew suspicious. I called a friend and his cable was on, but no television. I found out what was going on with the HT. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I had a few dozen jumper coax cables lying around .... BWaaaaaaaa! You take too much credit however. The latest theory is that it was our friend N8*** hooking up a doorbell :) 73 from Rochester, NY Jim "Twistedhed" wrote in message ... Dial-a-watt was set too high when I keyed my mic.
