There are better propagation on that band, but i must say i can not hear
anyone down on that band, so, it MAY be correct what you are saying...

I reach mid-west of USA on 20watts vertical, shame that 26Mhz not is used so
much, there my power is 50+ watts, due to better SWR.

Yepp, it seems so.

I could ofcourse shorten my antenna 5" or so, but i let it be for now.
It works fine from 25.6 to 26.4 Mhz.

he is not american but norwegian. unknown how his countries rf spectrum
is divided.
