Do you consider a telescopic steel antenna one that is "in sections"?

Do you consider a telescopic steel antenna one that is "in sections"? Thanks Yup. A non-telescopic antenna is all one section. |
No, but was going to look for one...
There's one on ebay, but the seller did not put the length on the listing. E-mailed him, did not get an answer. And I got myself a 102" steel already. Eric "Steveo" wrote in message ... Do you consider a telescopic steel antenna one that is "in sections"? A telescopic antenna will have resistance between each section, reducing the efficiency. If the antenna is similar to car radio antennas, with nothing but friction to hold the sections up and make the connection, the perfomance may not be too good. The best option is a single piece steel type, although I imagine that they can get in the way a bit. Can you get 102" telescopic mobile antennas? Regards, Peter. |

I must start carrying a camera about, for those rare times when I see
something amazing, funny, or just plain stupid. Have camera, will snapshot. Plus you get to photograph the fail foliage. |
