cobra 148gtl

i have one of these radios and it has the mic plug on the side of the
radio...anyone know how old this one is?

It's old enough to be one of the "good" ones...
Seriously, the date of manufacture should be stamped right onto the tag that
is riveted to the back panel of the radio...
