"Sales Pending FCC Type Acceptance". Gee, how clever....not. We all know that
those amps are never going to get authorization. And "AUX"? Do you really think
the FCC is -that- stupid? What a shame -- an Extra making and selling illegal
amps thinly disguised as "amateur" equipment. No wonder so many would-be hams
choose not to get a license.

I don't suppose you did since the first dedicated CB amps were nothing more than
cheap knock-offs of of ham amps.

Ameritron currently holds eight grants for equipment to be used under Part 97.
All of these grants are for "licensed non-broadcast station transmitters" that
require no other equipment for operation, -not- amplifiers. None of them are
authorized for operation above 21.6 MHz. If these devices are in fact amplifiers
in violation of 47CFR2.815, then Steve Par could get in a heap of trouble for
filing false applications.

well gilligan this is a ham amp that is a knockoff of a cb amp...don't
that just poor **** in your cornflakes there good buddy????

Most ham amps are ready to go on 10meters to12meters.Some have a screw(remove
screw)on the band switch to keep it out of the unmarked 10 meter position and
some have a wire grounding(cut wire) out the 10 meter coil. Many of the mods are
available on line at many ham sites.Have fun!
