Oh my god, he finally put the "p" back in the Cbplusser. Took you long
enough.

Not forever either, just long enough to have a nice QSO. You are the
one dumbing down amateur radio with your own words.

Take away all priviliges that

Big difference between an Advanced and a Gloirified CBplusser

Only a difference in licenses and ability to copy CW. Still get an
upgrade without further testing which is what you continually cry
about.

, but when I sat down for code, I couldnt
recognize any of the characters because of a cheap made copy of a
warped tape,

This is the cheapest excuse I have heard yet, the real reason was because you
couldnt copy CW

Were you the VE at the session? If not then shut your mouth. You show
how stupid you are by opening it and putting your foot in it. If I
didnt work at home on the computer and drive a Car Carrier for a
living, I might have been able to practice code and be up there with
you in class of license or higher, but since the hands are working all
the time, cant do the keyer crap.

therefore I believe I have enough experience to operate
an HF rig.

You have no Experience

So little do you know. I happen to own one you moron. I also know how
to use it very well.

Have
the extra time between 4 children, Work and the woman, then maybe I
can practice and catch back up

Well since you dont have any time available, then you must not have any time
to operate HF

I listen to HF on my FT-767GX while I work at home. Soon, thanks to
you lollygaggers, I will be able to further utilize that radio.

No matter how many of you pro-coders there is fighting, it is not
enough to make the majority. We have spoken and action will be the
result. Thanks again ARRL.

You beyond any one I have talked to SCORE a 150% Morrrron

Only you could say that and sound like a complete jackass

Because he wants a FREE HANDOUT, and doesnt even want to support the group
thats trying to give it to him.
And this is what is going to kill the "CBRRL" they have screwed there present
membership, and now think they can recover there losses from these new Clowns

When you know the facts Bruce, then state upon them. All those that
are getting a Auto Upgrade are just getting some HF privileges. Big
Deal! You seem to be acting like your losing your whole lifestyle. If
it's that big of a deal and it causes you to bang your head against
the wall, maybe you should see a counselor or a Psychiatrist to get
some help with you problems. Apparently it is your mind that is going
south, not Amateur Radio.

I understand your dilemma. When I learned I was working 7 days a week
and had 5 older children to feed. The way I learned was to listen to
the code tapes to and from work. That was about an hour a day and in
just two weeks I had it down, or most of it.

N6RPI

You dont understand, Andy has no desire to learn it, he prefers to wait for a
FREE HANDOUT.

How would you know Bruce? Are you friends with Andy? Do you know
someone who knows Andy? NOT! So your Psychobabble is meaningless!

N6RPI was able to do what he could to learn, In my position, I have to
listen to a Business Band Radio all day when in the truck so listening
to code tapes won't help much. At the home/office, cant concentrate on
30 different things, I have to be focussed on my work or it could cost
me thousands of dollars. Since you had the time Bruce to get your
code, You must not have had much else to do.

You take a cheap shot, then announce that my reply will be smart ass?
And I believe it was you who stated that once the free upgrade came
through that you would join the ARRL. Why are you not a member now?
And just for the record I never said or implied that coders were
better than no coders, my complaint is free upgrades for some and not
others.
I do think the new novice class is a good idea.
I also think having no time to study the code is a cop out. You have
plenty of time for the usenet but no time for code? Can you possibly
justify your position because I can't?
So for my smart reply I say you are a weak individual and all I have
to do to prove my point is read your verbiage.

I have been busy doing work and real life things that affect my living
situation. Therefore ARRL and Amateur radio are not a priority to me.
I never stated that you said anything about coders being better than
no-coders either. Im not supporting a free upgrade, Im happy being a
tech, I am however supporting licensees being able to work HF via
phone. Cant do code while at work, Causes too much of a distraction
for other employees here. Your opinion about me being weak is noted
and trashed. There is alot of good that can come from this, More good
than bad if there is any bad at all.

Change happens and there is always someone going to get a better end
of the deal. Its a part of reality that we have to deal with and
accept. I accepted the fact that I have to pay extreme taxes and
insurance owning my own company, but the hardest part was getting it
all together and dealing with it. I dealt with it and I am happy that
I did. Some had to really work for code and some had it where code
came naturally, now we may not even have to do it at all. It happens,
times change!

Nope, still can't hear you. As a CB'r would say, You are a "Mud Duck".

I dont have an 11 meter antenna dumbass!!! If I did have an 11 meter

I have element 2 & 3, as well. I learned CW up to 6-7 wpm, but haven't
taken the test. If the FCC drops the requirement before my year is up,
that'll be fine. If not, I'll take element 1. In any case, I'll use CW
zero or one more times.

I mean, CW's kinda cool in its own way, but I have too much stuff to do
to spend time using it.

In any case, my passing or not passing element 1 is of no practical
consequence to any of you, since you'll never hear me use it on the air.
So it's time to unbind those panties, lads.

I like to hear the voices of those I talk to. You get so much more
hearing how they respond and react to certain ways others talk to
them. With CW, its like talking to a computer, just dead heap!

Likely story, some real Ham probably sold it to you, and told you it was a 40
Meter ant, and you were dump enough to believe it.

Yeah right, like you would know. By the way, it's "DUMB" not "dump"
The "b" is nowhere near the "p" on my keyboards.
