Orange Alert:: The 4-5 Terrorist May Be Active This Weekend
(April 16, 2004) Terror Alert is elevated to ORANGE this weekend.
Threat indicators are "perhaps greater now than at any point" since the April 5 attack. Some of the intelligence information gathered in the past few days suggests that "extremists" like moparholic are preparing attacks that will rival or exceed the scope of those of April 5. AKC advises those in the Michigan and Ohio area to stick to your weekend plans despite intelligence indicating that is on the loose. |

I must have missed where he made that assertion. Please show the headers to that post. -- _____________________________________ Hotel sheets, rental cars, late flights, fast food. I hear the United Kennel Club is a much better organization. The AKC is for breeds like Chihuahuas and Pomeranians and the like. Useless little breeds of Dogies. The UKC recognizes Pitt-Bulls. If you call him a friend you might want to tell him a few things. #1 sticks and stones may break my bones but names can never hurt me. he needs to act like an adult not a tantrum child. sure he got called names in this NG so did everyone else. tell him to suck it up and walk it off. #2 its not cool to make anonymous phone calls to people on this NG then show up at there houses to challenge them to fight. police can get involved next time around. also If doug and leland want to rumble with him then let steve leave a phone number where he can be reached. better yet may be they can come to him in medina. What's his address? |

Not that I am a Rolling Rock fan, its ok, I prefer stronger tasting beer. Ever try Wildcatters crude stout? South Texas beer that looks like crude oil. If you call him a friend you might want to tell him a few things. snipped list I do not need to tell him anything. At 44, he is old enough to make his own decisions. Additionally, he can read so I am sure he saw your list. You can be friends with someone and not agree with everything they do. You do know that, don't you? I have made more mistakes in my life than I care to list in this post. I bet we all have. -- _____________________________________ Hotel sheets, rental cars, late flights, fast food. I am part of a team of folks that goes into Fortune 100's and assists with dismantling old legacy computer systems (usually mainframe) and replace them with ERP and CRM. Sorry for the buzzwords. ERP and CRM are products like Siebel, SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials. Sounds like interesting work. It really is. And no two companies do things the same. For example, I have done both Coca-Cola and Cadbury Schweppes; and they were so different in business processes and corporate culture that you would swear they weren't even in the same industry. I bet you really miss your family, with you being gone so much. It's brutal. Fly out Sunday night, come home Friday afternoon. The pay is slamming, but it's all rental cars, restaurant meals, and hotel sheets. My wife and I used to do consulting work on Cell site infrastructure. We would be gone for a month, back home for a couple of weeks, and back on the road Even though we got a chance to see the country, it gets old pretty quick. So I guess in way, I really don't envy you. I have seen some awesome places, but I would rather be home. I just don't have what I think I need to retire, and I also am too young to sit home all day. -- _____________________________________ Hotel sheets, rental cars, late flights, fast food. Are you into NHRA? My wife and I have season tickets for the fall nationals here. We have the absolute best seats, if you want we could try and get you a couple of seats. I race a 2003 Z06 with Lingenfelter heads and 250HP dual stage wet N2O. I also have a 73 Roadrunner that I will run next year; though I had hoped to have it ready this year. It will have a 472 Hemi crate motor, and hopefully will be close to as quick as Steveo's Mopar. Though, I think he has a ton of $$ in his. Mine will have about $20K in the motor and tranny, and another $10K in other stuff. I am into the 03 Z06 for about $70K now, so I can't really sink that kind of cash into a second car without my wife killing me. -- _____________________________________ Hotel sheets, rental cars, late flights, fast food. Yeah, pretty much. Winters are nice. I already have been picking radishes out of the garden. Roses are in full bloom. Won't be long before we have tomatoes. And then the heat, time to hide inside. Good excuse for radio and computer time. Also time to finish that 600' v-beam aimed at Europe. When I first moved to GA from CT, we refused to come out before the sun went down for the first 3 months down here. Neighbors probably thought we were vampires. And GA heat is nothing compared to TX. Not even in the same league. -- _____________________________________ Hotel sheets, rental cars, late flights, fast food. What's not to love about consulting?!?!? |
