Antenna Specialists antenna?
 

I have a question about an antenna. I have an old Antenna Specialists M-902
Black Stallion antenna that I am thinking about using. It looks like the one
here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3093592178 but I
don't know how well you can see it. It's a shunt-fed, base loaded antenna
that is about 3 ft. long and mounts on the trunk lip. My question is how
does it compare to some of the new antennas like Wilson or K40? Wilson
claims to be the best http://www.wilsonantenna.com/w1000.htm but are they
really that much better?

Yes, the Wilson 1000 is superior to the K-40 and the antenna you have.
