Isn't there special equipment needed to properly tune a SSB radio &
antenna? I mean other then the normal SWR and power meter? Mind to educating me on the fine art of tuning a SSB radio & antenna? It's my first radio and its done alright, but its time for an upgrade. I'm looking at a getting a hold of a PC68XL. It seems to be the best radio offered in a small compact size.. I'm also thinking of tossing my Little Wil and getting either a K40 or Wilson 5000. Might I be better off upgrading into a AM/SSB radio instead? Something like the older GX979 from Galaxy? Any suggestions? Patrick Uniden Grant or LT is a great AM/SSB radio the Wilson and K-40 are both great antennas Good luck 73 de Keith |
