Bahama Report on Hurricane Frances

I talked to an op in Freeport a short time ago. He said Frances was not
as bad as they thought. While damage occurred, it was not that heavy and
at this time they are reporting only a single death.
Also, check out the Hurricane Watch Net on 14.325 MHZ. Latest reports
has the storm missing most of southern Florida. The eye is diminished
and at times the wall is open. Intensity is expected to change over the
next 24 hours.

Heah Twisted:

That 14.325 MHz USB frequency, is kind of a disapointment. They ask for
stations in the effected areas for current weather condations. And if
any one whats to check in?!?!?!?!?

There must be a few more frequencies out there for us to listen in on.

Hey Jay....just had power restored...Keith should have some frequencies
to share,,I think he's in some type mobile command center (man, those
things can be impressive). I just took a break to check in after having
power restored,,,,plugs and cables are all off the ground and everything
is drying out. Haven't had time to mess with any radio except when
portable, which hasn't been much. Since power came on, I plugged in the
cb,,,,will hook everything else back up after everything dries.
