What is the polarization of Inverted V ANTENNA
ANYONE KNOW THE POLARIZATION OF THE
INVERTED " V " ANTENNA \FOR 11 METERS |
Hello Marty:
Vertical, I used one and it did real well. Jay in the Great Movie Desert, ....just down the raod ah ways from the fillin station. Marty B. wrote: ANYONE KNOW THE POLARIZATION OF THE INVERTED " V " ANTENNA \FOR 11 METERS |
How high above the ground, both feedpoint and ends?
What angle between the legs? Change the height, or the angle, or both, and the polarization will change, as will the radiation pattern. Assuming a 45 degree angle from the vertical for both legs, and the ends around 16 feet off the ground, you should get both horizontal and vertical radiation, with a decent SWR at the resonant frequency. It'll be good for both local and dx. -SSB Marty B. wrote: ANYONE KNOW THE POLARIZATION OF THE INVERTED " V " ANTENNA \FOR 11 METERS |
