We ought to start planning that rec.radio picnic for next summer. Hell,
if we make enough posts in the right groups, betcha we can get some turnouts. I thought about the best way to pull this off and a State Park that allowed camping would be perfect.....maybe we can even get some of our west coast friends to come. When's the last time any of us experienced a good 'ol coffee break? I mean, keydowns are cool, but carry a different element. Speaking of keydowns, I need to start checking some more out,,haven't been to one since the rag tatters of the suncoast put one on in the Everglades earlier this year and the turnout was kind of small (only two custom jobs). the rest (all six) were off-the-shelf models. _ =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0He y, it sounds like a winner to me, just try to set it months, if not at least year in advance. Makes for easier time to arrange time off. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0La ndshark _ What say Mopar? Let's take a tentative date and roll with it,,,say,,July or August of .05?? |

GREAT IDEA there will be AKC agents at least one if not two attending any keyclown shindig we have people on the inside for just this purpose. Digicams at the event will record names, faces and macth them to license plates..so then the hams in this NG will have names and faces to go with your addys LOL Are your reading skills not up to par tonight? They weren't discussing organizing a keydown. They were discussing a picnic and campout. Going to a keydown isn't breaking the law. Participating in one with illegal equipment is. So you plan to show up at a CB picnic, record names and license plates? Now isn't the same thing you are bitching about Steve doing? |
