He probably won't sell it to a non ham though. Most hams are more faithful to cash than the hobby. Agreed. I've found most people have a price, no matter what their belief system may be. But there are quite a few that will stick with their principles until the price gets WAY up there. Exactly. |

A real interesting contradiction on this site......
From the MODS Special Page: http://www.wholesalecbradio.com/ALL_...DS_SPECIAL.htm "Most stock-out-of-the-box radios do 4 watts that's about 5 mile range. After mods the same radios do 25 to 45 watts and talk at least 20-30 miles." Then, on another page, they de-bunk their own hype: http://wholesalecbradio.com/Truth_about_power.htm "Just as a matter of information, most radios are built with a five-watt final. So, if some shop tells you that they can get 40 or 50 watts out of one, draw your own conclusion. There is no way of making this happen." Like they said........... "Draw your own conclusion." |

The reason I'm choosing to build the EB63 is that it
is a tried and true design that hams use. The EB63 is illegal for use on CB radio. |

You don't have a clue. You are wrong again, as usual. How am I wrong randy? is this your opinion again or will you tell me why I am wrong, or will you just blow it off as usual? You seem to think you're the smart one. Figure it out, dummy. |

Cool link. I've never used one of these. How do they compare to the
newer Palomars (which I heard are not the same as the old Palomars)? |

I know who I am and I know you have more than 1 sock on here randy... shame you are that obsessed to have to make up other news reader accounts. Tell ya what. I'm gonna go watch the game. I'll check in from time to time just so you can tell me who I am at the moment. _ Hahahahah! Thank's for making my day, man! Now that tune is gonna be stuck in my head all day .."I woke up in a soho town where the policeman knew my name. He said, you can go sleep at home tonight, if you can get up and walk away." |
