October 11, 2004, at 6:30 p.m., in regular session at Hermosa School.

Board members present were Jon Dahlstrom, Harvey Fitzgerald, Sandra
McFarland, Roni Petik, Mike Tennyson, Tim Wicks, and Don Young.=A0 Also
present were Superintendent Tim Creal, Business Manager Jeanne Foss, and
Principal Susan Ostenson.=A0 Staff members and the Chronicle reporter
were also in attendance.

AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA
Motion by McFarland, second by Fitzgerald, to approve the agenda as

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Tennyson and Superintendent Creal presented a Certificate of Recognition
to Ann Breuklander in honor of achieving 102 hours of professional
development in science education through the Black Hills Science
Teaching Project (BLAHST) at Black Hills State University. =A0
CONSENSUS AGENDA ITEMS
Motion by Wicks, second by McFarland, to approve the minutes of the
September 13, 2004, regular meeting; the October claims; Open Enrollment
Application for a student from Hill City to attend 12th grade in Custer;
Early Graduation Request; and the Personnel Report. =A0
