Default Which Wilson antenna should I get? 3' or 4' or 62"

I recently got a 96 Buick Roadmaster station wagon. Do to a lack of
mounting locations I plan to use a magnetic roof mount antenna. The
62"(Wilson 1000) looks nice, it's amazing to see a wire that thin stand
straight up, but an antenna like that looks high maintenance, considering the
car top is 5 foot high and the antenna would be another 5 foot high. Would I
lose much reception if I went with a 3 foot fiberglass antenna or a 4 foot
flexible fiberglass antenna ? The top of the 4' antenna would only be 9' high
and therefore less likely to get hit in drive-ins like the bank and fast food
joints.
When I get an antenna I expect it to last at least 5 years.
The radio I will be using is a Uniden pc68 elite, because I really like the
Uniden pc68ltw in my other car.
