I didn't even study for the General !! But a lot of the tech schooling
helped. Failed the extra, but who the hell cares. I got the General !

Now all I need is equipment !

Rock on, Enzo. Good job man.

I think my brain is fried. I studied for a month. It would not have been so bad,
but I was busy as **** at work.

Remind me when you go do Dayton.

That makes it even more impressive, you did it while you were so busy.
That's using your dome for more than a hat rack.

You do know the dates right? (for Dayton)
May 20,21, & 22 http://www.hamvention.org/

That gives you plenty time to find an excuse to leave your better half
for two or three days. (hope she's still there when you return)
Remind me when you go do Dayton.

Leaving my beter half for a couple days, isn't hard. I do it for work. It's
having someone cover my job, that is the bitch.

Almighty then. I can offer you a place to stay in my camper if you want
to stay, but I'd like a little bit of an advance notice. I like my trip
planned in advance. It should be fun, I'll have campfire wood and a
barbecue, we'll run over there in my truck, or the shuttle bus.

Give it some thought and let me know by May 1.

Where are you staying at? I'm going with a group that will be staying at the
university dorms. Splitting the dorm room rent several ways is costing each
of us $28 each for two nights. We get a kitchen, stove, etc. with only two
people per room.

Dunno yet, it will be one of the three campgrounds that are convenient
to there. I posted a thread for campground advice but no one replied yet.
I'll call them soon to get the low-down on what they have to offer, and
their location to the track (er fest)

Cool. Maybe if this thing floats you could stop by and say hello. We'll
be there for two nights.

I'll take the no-reply as a yes. Run away if the fun starts.
