I don't think they made it in 1984. I think the 2510 was released in 1989. In
any case, the seller is not required to say much of anything. It's you job to
get answers for unanswered questions on the item.

Actually they were introduced in the early 80's, 81 or 82.
I bought my first one in 1982, should have never sold it, best
damn radio I've ever had.
