Is this a Linear Amp?

This amp is a piece of crap I would be embarrassed to sell this.

It's not even an amp -- it's just vaporware. I wonder if Brian Griffey
is behind this.....

There sure seems to be a lot of ground plane on the PCB.

Outside that it looks almost like a deadbug assembly.

If the transistors are good,it might be good for parts.

Only 700 watts? Surely it can do 1500 if you feed it 15 volts!

I fed my in dash sony 18 volts and it never sounded so good for about 20
seconds or so, before I realized my voltage regulator had quit. My first
clue was how bright the gauge lights got before they started burning out.

Luckily I was only about 5 miles from home so I made it before I fried the
wiring harness and such.

Over-volt for fun! :)

Naaa, Frank.... Brians gear is already assembled.

Nope you need 22 Volts. Got to get them pills hot before they produce.

Ya think? Well, the heatsink is plenty large enough. With a 600 HP blower it
should be capable of handling 10K.

Doesn't look any worse than Xforce or Davemade...

Well... nothing wrong with this if it's sold as a prototype. The
problem is that many are pawning these off as production units. That's
not very smart for this type of RF device. Between the variation of
components... mixed with the variation of physical assembly of those
components (because of no real PCB) you can get all types of
performance and instability issues.
