It's rolling thunder, pouring rain

It's coming on like a hurricane

For the first time since 1985 (Hurricane Elena), this area (Gulf Coast)
is seeing 12 ft. seas. Dennis is giving pause for the cause, but this
time, this one is welcome. Damn red tide came in last week and the
beaches are filled with hundreds of thousands of dead fish. Gag grouper
(deep sea fish) the size of kitchen tables are washing up on the shore.
Dennis will cleanse this stuff right out of here. I'm taking the
windsurfer out this afternoon along with some other members of a local
windsurfing club, but we're going to be vying for elbow room with the
surfers. Some of the beaches are already jammed with surfers and many
more are descending on the area from the east coast. I was down at the
dock at 5:30 this AM and the parking lot was half full. Funny thing
though, skip is always perfect for us across the Gulf pond to the Big
Horn when a major storm is in the Gulf. Last time one was this similar,
Nebo and I tagged right across the top of it. I'll have it on either 555
or 38 low today. Take 'er easy.

In the south, Dickens Cider is a huge hit...almost as big as their
radio ads...."All the women love a Dickinscider".

Hi Twist.

Hope you guys didn't get tore up too bad this time. I'm also hoping the
remnants of Dennis will bring us some much needed rain up here.
