You mean one of these:
http://www.strikealert.com/ProductInfo.htm "Jan Panteltje" wrote in message ... So I designed and build some hardware. This uses a Microchip PIC 12F629 micro controller. http://panteltje.com/panteltje/cb/lide-0.1.zip this holds the diagram and the ASM and HEX listings. See the README for some info abut the ASM code. Some features: The circuit draws only 33 uA from 2 AAA batteries... It runs on a watch xtal (32kHz). It has enough power to drive a small 3V beeper, now it drives a high brightness LED.. This is the first software.. no special processing, the interrupt caused by lightning just switches the LED on for some seconds. I think it should perhaps be possible to further reduce standby current by putting the PIC in sleep mode... Now waiting for the next real lightning to test if sensitivity is sufficient. See README for how to change that. _________________________________________ Usenet Zone Free Binaries Usenet Server More than 140,000 groups Unlimited download http://www.usenetzone.com to open account |
