I have a Cobra 29 LTD Classic that has no plugin to plug inside the house. It only has a black wire and a red wire. What do I need to do to be able to bring the cb inside and plug it into a regular outlet 12 volts of REGULATED DC. Do not attached to 120 volt AC unless you like sparks and smoke. Radio Shack sells a 3 amp power supply that is sufficient to run a stock AM only radio. If you intend to upgrade to a sideband model, get 5 or more amps. You also need an antenna. The higher and bigger the better. Back of set antennas and loaded mobile antennas won't do it. |
