FA: No BidsRAY JEFFERSON 630 RADIO DIRECTION FINDING RADIO
Greetings! I have this radio model number 630 as well and it is one I
would not let go. The VHF is just so so as per most of the multi mode radios. The AM is really pretty decent and what I play with a lot. What is strange is that mine is the same model number as yours, #630, but mine does not have the CB band on it. Mine has marine band in it's place. It is pretty good on that band as well with a long wire attached. Mine is serial # 3206 which I believe to be an earlier version than the G number of yours. The direction finder works well and is something of a curiosity to most people who see it. Other than the CB band mine also displays under the 630/ RDF then Ray Jefferson, Philladelphia, Penna. A neat old radio for you who collect something a little different. I was fortunate enough to get mine for just the shipping from a guy on one of the news groups. I wish I had the manual for mine, but alas that did not come with it. I just like to have manuals to go with all my radios. Just thought I would mention this to any bidders. Have a great weekend! Jon. |
