Amen. The intelligent rich get richer and the rest just get
trampled.

Nah. Small business makes this economy work in large numbers, no
reason to be trampled unless you're lazy.

Unless you sell products that Wal-Mart sells, then look at the
footprints left on your back.

Like MTD?

I was shocked to find that my Troy Built is an MTD:-(

Why? It's an American company right down the road from me. Local employees
and everything..just another small business.

+Not for nothing, but most ham HF transceivers have a simple mod to make it
+transmit on the CB frequencies. My Icom 746 requires a small diode be removed.
+Extremely simple. I wonder how they will settle this.

There is a way but I seriously doubt that it will ever happen.

Get caught using and/or modifying a Transmitter to transmit on
frequencies other than what it is type acceptance for will yield in a
fine and or jail time, forfeiture of any radio licensing the operator
has, and forfeiture of equiptment.

Not in the USA, it won't. You just can't transmit on them.

Then again me being Pope has a greater chance than the above.

They can't be THAT small, they supply Wal-Mart with tons of riding mowers. I
bought the Troy Built thinking I was helping a small company, and I did in a
way, as I bought it from a small Troy Built dealer.

Mr Mall started that tool and die company in a garage down by trisckett
road many moons ago. (third generation now)

Big or small is a relative thing and I wouldn't call them big. Maybe I'm
bias since I know a couple red necks that work there.

At any rate my point still stands...it's an American company employing us
Americans..in fact they put an American flag sticker on every machine they
make. (sometimes it's hidden)

I hope for honesty in the court but I do always consider what the

I'm certainly glad it's made in the USA. I'll have to look for the flag,
probably on the frame somewhere.
