Some mode on 40 meters noise wide band
Hi Folks;
I'm hearing a super-wide noise, sorta sounds like MT63 but it's almost 10kc wide! I'd say it's 3.999mHz LSB that extends to 3.991. It's not letting up! It's steady and strong. A little multipath distortion, but Screamin' in Jersey. Harry |

Hi!
Thanks for the reply! I think you're right! I found the same stuff under 9.8mHz. I found a site http://www.drm.org/ that talks much about it. It's amazing how they can squeeze this much data into only 10kc of bandwidth with enough reliability to work on HF! I can see all radios, even AM broadcst band going to this. I would pretty much obsolete a lot of current equipment..
