Dead newsgroup?

Hello All. It would appear that the last message posted here was in January of 2009. Is this no longer a group hosted on Usenet? Actually, I just added this newsgroup into its configuration yesterday; it pulled in the most current 175 messages - - or so I thought. I'll have a look at what's actually in the group on the giganews server I connect to for these imports... Perhaps there's some foul-up there.
